Concrete Polishing

Polished concrete is achieved by grinding the surface of new or existing concrete.

The design aspects that can be customized are:

  • Shine Level (Matte - High Gloss)

* - The Aggregates are done at the pouring stage of the project

We also have an array of sealers and hardeners to ensure your floor will stay dust-proof, water, and abrasion-resistant.

As of now, we do not offer pouring services but we offer consultation and work closely with our clients to achieve the best results for our polishing service.

Kuma Concrete Inc. pavers are thoughtfully designed and regularly tested. They come in a multitude of shapes, colors, and finishes.

Our company repurposes locally sourced volcanic wastes (or lahar) to use in our mixes, keeping our products sustainable and earth friendly.

Kuma Concrete's eco-friendly line of pavers

Kuma Concrete's eco-friendly blocks mimic the earth’s natural surface. They are made either PERVIOUS, PERMEABLE, or POROUS using locally sourced raw materials and wastes. These blocks have the ability to leave the earth below us breathable, which in turn helps eliminate the heat island effect while also making rainwater naturally seep down into the soil, significantly minimizing rain runoff which promotes natural irrigation and filtration of pollutants.

Pervious

  • Pervious pavers allow water to percolate through the surface rather than running off into surrounding areas or storm drains. As water runs through, the pavers filter urban pollutants.

    Like grass, pervious pavers let the ground below breathe and allow tree roots and their supporting microbes to interact.

Permeable

  • Permeable pavers are separated by joints filled with crushed aggregate. Permeable pavers are different from pervious and porous pavers in that rainwater passes around or between the gaps of the paver as opposed to through it.

Porous

  • Porous pavers or "grass pavers" generally have a cellular grid system filled with dirt, sand, or gravel. This system provides grass reinforcement, ground stabilization, and gravel retention.
